Be Prepared for Disaster
Your pets depend on it.

Well we need to stop our procrastination. Our lives and our Pet's lives depend on it. When a disaster strikes, don't leave your pet to fend for itself. Read the listed articles here on what you and your pet will need to survive.

This is a really useful lens. We had an earthquake swarm here in Nevada which went on for close to 2 months so we were and still are prepared, cat and all, for a fast exit. Before that we never would have thought about it and I don't think most people do.

Excellent lens. I cannot conceive of leaving my pets behind! We'd share Vienna sausage and the leaves on the ground for sleeping if we had to! But, this is a really nice resource for us pet lovers to wanting to be able to do a lot better care-taking than that. :)

Thanks for the good ideas. It was heartbreaking to see the pets stranded during Katrina. Living in Florida, we have to think about these things ahead of time.
